1. Training — the "Career" engine
What it is. Each horse-girl (Uma Musume) must run through a 60-70-turn Career Training session before she can enter PvP or events. During these turns you raise five main stats—Speed, Stamina, Power, Guts, Wisdom—by choosing one of five facilities every turn.

Support synergy. Every time a Support character icon appears in the same room you gain extra stats; once their bond bar turns rainbow you unlock Friendship Training, multiplying gains even further.
Community tip. Reddit veterans recommend "2 Speed / 2 Stamina / 1 Wisdom + Friend" deck templates for easy U-rank clears while you build card depth.
2. Support Cards — your real power curve
Why they matter. Global launch data shows you pick six cards (five yours, one borrowed) before each run; they dictate stat caps, event buffs and race rewards. New players are advised to reroll for top-tier Support Cards, not characters.

3. Missions — free gems every day
Tabs explained. Tap the clipboard on the home screen to open four mission tabs: Daily, Main, Title, Special (some Specials are "permanent" limiteds).
Daily missions (reset 00:00 JST):
- Win 1 Career race (×100 Mana)
- Enter 1 Daily Race (×300 Mana)
- Clear 3 Daily Races (×500 Mana)
- Play 1 Team Trials (×1 Support Pt Ticket)
- Complete 1 full Career run (×10 Jewels)
Main missions: one-time account-level goals that unlock tutorial gems, extra team slots and story chapters.
Special & Event missions: time-limited; always check during campaigns for extra jewels, Upgrade Chalices and Orb items.
Sticky hurdles. Struggling with obscure objectives (e.g., "Win with Green Grass in an A-Rookie Turf 2200m race")? The subreddit's "Frequently Asked Missions" thread crowdsources the fastest work-arounds and suggested skills/parents.

- Training: stack supports in the right room, hit stat quotas, race early & often.
